Accessibility Statement
Every template in this collection is built and tested to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Conformance is verified on each route at 375, 768, and 1280 pixel widths, in both light and dark colour schemes, using axe-core alongside a manual keyboard and screen reader pass.
The most recent audit recorded zero automated violations across all routes.
Success criteria covered
- 1.3.1 Info and Relationships
- Landmarks on every route; headings run h1 → h2 → h3 with no skipped levels; lists are real ul/li.
- 1.4.1 Use of Color
- Links inside body text carry an underline as well as a colour change.
- 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum)
- Body text and UI labels meet or exceed 4.5:1; every value was set with headroom to 5:1.
- 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast
- The focus indicator is an amber ring inside a dark halo, so it clears 3:1 on light and dark surfaces alike.
- 2.1.1 Keyboard
- All controls, including horizontally scrolling tables and credential strips, are reachable and operable by keyboard.
- 2.3.3 Animation from Interactions
- Transitions are 200ms or less and are removed entirely under prefers-reduced-motion.
- 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks
- Every page opens with a skip link to the main region.
- 2.4.2 Page Titled
- Each route has its own descriptive title.
- 2.4.7 Focus Visible
- Focus is always visible; no control removes the outline without replacing it.
- 2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum)
- Controls are at least 24 × 24 CSS pixels; most reach the 44 × 44 comfort target.
- 3.1.1 Language of Page
- Every document declares lang="en".
- 3.3.1 / 3.3.3 Errors
- Form errors are named in text next to the field, summarised in a live region, and focus moves to the first problem.
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
- Interactive elements use native semantics; ARIA is only used where no native element fits.
Known limitations
The forms in these templates are demonstrations. They validate and announce errors correctly but do not submit to a live backend.
